Thunderstorms into the morning. Looks like we will have rain all day tomorrow. I guess I won't be watering anytime soon.

Snow on the ground this morning, then blustery and in the 40's, so no real outside work to do today. Went out to lunch instead!

Ooh, nasty! I hate snow. It was a pleasant day here yesterday, but today 'that' wind is back and it's wall-to-wall grey again.

Windy and warm, but enough about me !!!! Lol I'd prefer rain to this strong blustery wind. It's interfering with my greenhouse something awful

We've had loads of rain and strong winds but today is dry and bright. More rain is on the cards for later unfortunately.

It didn't really rain here - only a few drops. That wind made it feel chilly outside. It looks like more of the same today.

It has rained overnight, not a lot but it's dampened the soil surface. Mild, cloudy with a few gaps, not quite as gusty as yesterday and last night thankfully.

Hi there folks. long time no see. Hope all is well with everyone. We're expecting a hig of 21 today, but right now it cool and cloudy following some overnight rain. We've been having a real "up and down" mix of weather over the past couple of weeks since I've come back to Canada after a long stay in Trinidad (almost 3 months). Since I've been back from one day to another it's been cold, spring warm, rain, windy, snow. It has made for a very patchy start to the gardening season here. Yesterday was relatively warm and dry so I got a bit of cleaning up, raking the lawn, over seeding, etc. I might get to do some more stuff today if the forecast hold up.

we have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. A week ago I still had a garden covered in snow, today it was 23C and sunny. It's very odd seeing people walk around in shorts when the trees are still completely bare.

It appears that we are all experiencing some climate changes, I was chatting to my neighbour who is in his 80's and he reckons that it is the most bizarre start to a year, weather wise, that he can recall.
The evil wind has dropped quite a lot here and it's a sunny start. Not had any frost overnight for some time but the forecast is predicting below zero nights again over the weekend.

I heard that, too, Ladygardener. We had a light frost overnight, but the sun is appearing so I hope it'll be a nice day. The wind seems to have dropped as well.

It was bright and sunny yesterday, and got quite warm at one stage....actually sat in the garden for a while; wondering when everything was going to start and grow....it all looks very dreary. It looks like it will be another nice one after an early frost......

-3c overnight but it soon warmed up with bright blue sunny skies and a gentle breeze. I've had to put a tee shirt on, first time this year

The weatherdance continues. Yesterday we were at 19c for the high, but with heavy cloud cover and a brisk wind for most of the day, this morning we woke up to 1c with light snow, and a forecast "high" of 3c. I just basically said "to h*ll with it" and went out and bought a new hellebore - yellow lady.
Hi RF; yes, it's me. Hope all is well with you.
