Well if you like seeing property brought back to life it is, and if you like to see how some people will spoil anything that people are trying to make nice it is, but the council are not helping the people who are trying to make something out of nothing and the neighbourhood is a mess, and the council are also cocking up selling the houses IMO, doing it piecemeal, and not selling them fast enough.

Probably best I don't watch it then Barbara, sounds like the sort of programme that would do my blood pressure no good at all!

If the council had done a couple up and rented them out it might have helped things along. I think someone from there gets it in the neck next episode.

I watched Endeavour and recorded Strike, but watched it straight after. Double dose of tension Collateral tonight, if I can follow it. Not keen on Marcella a bit too brutal at times and she's not very stable for a detective!

I did'nt realise Strike was back on again either but luckily I have it on a series link so it recorded it anyhow. I've recorded Collateral too but have'nt watched any of it yet. I watched the 1st series of Marcella but decided not to watch the 2nd one, It was'nt really to my taste.

Hospital last night, the op on the little lad with the curved spine was a great thing it was wonderful to see him walk out of there straight, the number of old people who are on wards when they shouldn't be is wrong, I have no answer but when families cant afford the fees for nursing homes something needs to be done.

Unforgotten is back on for series 3 tonight at 21.00hrs. I'll record it and watch it when I can. I do like Nicola Walker acting ever since I watched her in Spooks. I've not seen Keeping Faith Barbara but if it's good hopefully it'll be on catch up.

Can anyone remember the name of a programme that was on around Christmas time. It's a detective drama set in the UK and the main boss woman turns out to be ? a murderer? A young DC is set the task of looking into a cold case and it turns out that her boss was a young DC on that case at the time and committed the murder? I got to see one episode and then somehow did'nt see any more of it and I don't have it stored. If I knew the name of it I might be able to find it.

I saw it Ladygardener , but can't remember the name. I'm recording Unforgotten too, am a fan of both Nicola Walker ( she'll always be "Ruth from Spooks " to us ) and Sanjeev Bhaskar . Think it was Bancroft.... with Sarah Parish iirc

I've not made my mind up on The Bodyguard. Started OK but 2nd episode wasn't quite what I was expecting.
Looking forward to GBBO, Noel looks like Elvis with his new haircut though, he never looked like Elvis when his hair was long, weird!

They wasted too much time on it in my humble opinion Barbara, it didn't add anything to the storyline once they had commenced their canoodling

No Ladygardener, but we are watching Press, the first 2 have been OK.

I watched Strangers LG - quite intriguing start, can't imagine what the 'wife' had got herself into yet, time will tell no doubt.
I watched the first episode of Press, it is quite gritty but I am struggling with what I consider to be a quite heartless approach to media manipulation. I think it is based on the Sun and the Mirror, with the wealthy mogul controlling the Post and whilst the editor of the Herald trying to balance the books of a lesser funded paper which wants to highlight social injustices. The philandering ways of the Post editor put me off though.
I watched No Offence, I really enjoy that, serious crime but with a bit of humour here and there, as well as the tears, anger & commitment to bring the criminals to book.

I'll see how strangers goes. It has 8 episodes so I might leave it and watch a few together. I've not seen Press but have looked it up, I think I can get it on catch up and if so I'll check it out. I see this is series 3 of No Offence, I don't think it's for me at the moment anyhow but thanks.
