Here's another clue......when the sun shines, much to the dismay of it's planners, a cross is seen on the facade.

I remember something on the News a while back about a cross being visible on the front of a fancy building - lots of glass if I recall correctly - but I haven't a clue where or what it was! Not much help - but hey ho - it's the festive season - goodwill to all men (and women) ;D xx Tig

Ok, another clue then since no-one's got it as yet! Though we are now united, I stand on one side of what was once an infamous wall. You should get it from that

Wow Plocket!! Never heard of it but it sounds like a good guess to me I take it "the Pope's Revenge" is the cross that appears!! ;D

I had to do a bit of a google I'd already got radio mast in my head though so that helped, and then the clue about east/west made me think of Berlin and finally she comfirmed my thoughts when she mentioned the wall ;D

Not a clue yet Plocket, but can we assume from the quote marks that it's not very "beautiful"?
|
|
|
Post by Plocket on Dec 5, 2007 19:03:24 GMT
Erm - the quote marks actually refer to what was said by the person who wanted the thing built!!! I find it quite attractive actually

The B of the Bang in Manchester? Erm...it's obviously not that then, but I thought it was well-known. It's a very large "work of art" inspired by Linford Christie.
