Your tree looks great Barbara, and I bet the Santa in the last photo plays a tune and wiggles too perhaps? I recognise the shape of his tummy ;D A PS here, you have just posted the wreath Tig, and I think it can be said that your grandchildren did a sterling job Did it turn out far better than you expected?

Lovely Christmas tree Barbara. My kids (19 and 16) are only intrested in the choccy decs on the tree!
Tig - very tasteful wreath, looks very natural unlike the articial ones that look too funereal to me!

Lovely tree Karen - do I spy some home-made decs?
Lovely wreath too Tig, but didn't you get the sprogs to make one for you too?

I love your tree Karen Plocket the kids were as good as gold today - it would have made the one to take home less special if we had done two x Tig

2nd attempt ! We only decorate around our fireplace in the living room, and our tree goes in the front window in the room we dont use (well I use it for my plants over winter!) We have lights on two of the conifers in the front garden and a half tree with lights between the bedroom windows. I have icicles lights round my green house, but they are so hard to take a decent picture of you will have to imagine them ! ;D

You can Chuckles, nothing to stop you! It's traditional to take everything down by 12th night or allegedly you get bad luck if you dont - have no idea why!!! Does anyone know?

Mmmm well my 'kids' are 27 & 30 and don't live here so I think it's safe to put them there until Christmas Day....there are more to go under but I haven't finished wrapping them yet.
The 2 red ones on the left at the back are 'secret santa' pressies. ;D

I love it when there are prezzies under the tree. My 2 are quite good - not too much obvious poking around goes on - but the dog 'opened' hers one year so they can't go under the tree til we are all down on Christmas morning!

When we used to have a dog we couldn't put any choccie decs on the tree or have the choccie advents hanging where she could reach them. One year someone had bought me a giant bar of cadburys choccie and put it under the tree...needless to say that when I got home one day I found it half licked away in the middle of the room.

What are they like - Jess got shut in the conservatory at Mum and Dads one Christmas and ate half the ham joint, she was so sick.

There was turkey as well, but knowing my mum the other half of the ham wouldn't have gone to waste!!
