I bet they are just as beautiful - for sure - or maybe she hasn't done any yet! I am hoping to make another wreath with the Grandkids - if they get over their sniffles and can play out in the garden with me x Tig

This is our tree. Littlest twin and I got the tree last Friday as he was a bit miffed that his brother was getting a second day off school. We did the lights last weekend but only finished decorating it yesterday!

Thank you Tig. We decided on a real one this year rather than dragging the artificial one out of the attic (it is so big and heavy). I love the smell of a real tree.

Thank you Isabella. My boys used to go and help my mum and dad do their tree. I expect there was a bit of rearranging after they had had their tea and come home! (My parents live abroad now but its these sorts of things the boys miss most). Hope your grandchildren have lots of fun.

They are gorgeous - very tasteful - love their "beady" legs ;D they look expensive Went to get my Christmas Tree out of the garage last week and spiders had made their home in the box so I had to leave it there until today Will drag out box today, tip upside down, run to end of garden, and then leave it there until they have escaped

YAY No mice this year!! (but we did catch one in the loft space ) I'm trying to replace a lifetime of decorations left with the ex including those made by the children. Very hard and still not quite the same. Each year we've added a bit more to our own collection. We're quite traditional in colour, and quite restrained really. We have added a few lights to the front of the house this year though as you can see The front tree. Ruger with his stocking under the Present Tree (will be quite sparse this year!!) Oscar is hiding under it pretending to be the skirt. And the main fireplace. The stairs and landing have bits going all up them but they are still laying the floor in that hall so it's not done yet! Not sure if it will be done at all this year. There are a few other bits scattered about the place like the amazing amaryllis that has sprung to life in the warmth!!! Oh, I forget OH's pride and joy with it's very own mahoosive glass baubles!

Isn't everyone looking very festive. Love the trees Amo especially the big one and the other decs too. Ruger looks fab with his stocking, bless him I'm well chuffed wth my beady legged guys, originally £6.99 each but they were actually reduced to £2.99 from tkmaxx, bargains. Would have paid the full price as I didn't think that was expensive for what they are

Your trees and decorations look beautiful Amo. Ruger loooks as though he is expecting something in his stocking - has he been good?

That was a fab bargain Chuckles, well found!! I think he thinks he's been good Jas You are lucky to have a lovely real tree. We had one the first year we were here but Izzy decided it was part of his gym equipment. They don't last long with 23 lbs of cat flying through the branches. He's not too interested in the pretend ones. ;D

Very festive SR, and I see you have a nice chestnut roaster there I have tried to make a wreath, rather feeble effort, the holly didn't want to bend, and then half the leaves were facing in the wrong direction - but hey ho x Tig
