It wasn't that many years ago (and Silent Spring was just published) that folks expected bald eagles to become extinct.
So any sight was a good thing. We could probably stand more BE, but they're back!

OMG I've just seen the other come to the nest with extra bedding, there are 2 eggs and they seem to have food tucked away in the edge of the nest, one was eating what looked like a grass hopper type insect, the've swapped over now it so amazing to see

There is also one on peregrine falcons that is I think a UK bird-cam. Smaller raptor, but a beautiful bird, I don't think the falcons have laid their first egg yet. I'll BRB with the link (if I don't mess it up ) Postscript: Transcription is not my strongest suit. if I did this wrong you are welcome to overwrite me palimpest-style if you can figure out where I am trying to send you-all. upp.hawkandowl.org/norwich-peregrines/norwich-cathedral-peregrine-live-web-cam-2015/Often the USAin live cams (an' there are a couple) are near to or on top of provincial fish & game hatcheries. So the state F&G can oversee the whole human meddling, and that particular nest is considered ultra desirable by breeding eagles. Basically the nest never stays empty long even after disaster.

See the Eagles nest is covered in snow again. The other day I realised how high up that tree is, I saw people walking along the road below, very tiny dots The Peregrine has just been stretching its legs and I saw three lovely dark brown eggs, amazing how different birds nest, I can't imagine that gravel is very comfortable .

As the Peregrine changed position a little while ago, I saw 3 lovely brown eggs. She was looking straight up at the camera with her yellow eyes. Fab.

I'm talking about the Decorah site LG. Scroll down below the main vid pic past the row of small pics then below that is a link to the FB page then below that is info on this years nest. Theres a link right at the top of the info called our first peek. It shows both parents and the 1st baby and a 2nd part in the shell, some shots of one being fed aswell, its lovely.
The link you have posted is a different webcam, it is eagles but a different location as far as I can see.

At Decorah IA (USA) there are three chicks out of shell. One or another tends to be peeking out from under mum at any moment day or night.
Meal time is a fun watch too.
I have not seen (yet) a chick peek out from either Norwich or Bath peregrine roosts.

I have not seen (yet) a chick peek out from either Norwich or Bath peregrine roosts. I just love looking in on the Eagles, one night (morning here in UK) I looked in and mum was on the nest fast asleep but just as it came on screen she poked her head up as if I'd disturbed her, it was funny. ABout an hour ago I watched them all being fed, lovely to see. Both lots of Peregrine have been sat tight on the nest, the one in Bath picked a better nest site than the other didn't it, at least it has a roof of sorts . How uncomfortable that gravel must be though

The folks that build those peregrine roosts must know what the birds prefer.
Its striking how less streamlined hawks look nesting.

coppice, Rosefriend, Ladygardener, I look most days and boy are they growing, makes me laugh the way they flop about, I guess they'll soon get a bit stronger and be in a bit more control of thier bodies . One day last week I popped in at feeding time and there was a whole fish being served up. The Peregrines are still sitting tight at both locations, did see 4 eggs under the Norwich nest yesterday, they must soon be hatching.
