Just a thought, probably I'm not the first either, but has anyone ever planted a seed from a rose bush to see what they get (if anything)?

Not done it deliberately but I often find a fair few rose seedlings in the garden. They get dug out before ever reaching maturity.

I had a go many years ago Ron, - try it, it's fun. A bad winter got mine before it could get so big but it wasn't anything like it's parents... |
