Anyone watching It Takes Two? Brendan and Anastasia are getting on like a house on fire, it was quite funny to see him smiling so much.

Grrrrrrrr - ruddy workmen are still at it next door and drilling in the adjacent dining room. I've had to come upstairs because of the noise. On record so hopefully I can catch up later. Thought Lesley did well, hasn't she got good legs for 70!!!

I expect you know the result now Jasmine! Public choice, and I didn't think Melvin was as good as some of the others, also it seems a lot of people were not happy that Anastasia & Brendon didn't participate in the dance off, but as she was injured it would have surely been irresponsible to expect her too, and could have resulted in a claim against the Beeb if she had made herself worse? I sometimes think viewers don't realise that the show is filmed entirely on the Saturday night

Assuming that we don't have an early night, we usually know the spoiler by about 11pm. Shall I start a thread in PMs then whoever gets it first can post it. Thing is I never want to spoil anyone if they don't want to know. Shall I do it to Ladygardener, Tig, Barbara, Jasmine, Auricula Geranium Missredhead. Don't think I've forgotten anyone ?

Anastacia should have withdrawn and let Melvin go through If she's that badly hurt she won't be able to train or dance this week and will have to withdraw anyway. She'll lose public sympathy methinks They haven't said who'll be either the new judge, or head judge Jasmine, It would be a travesty if anyone other than Craig got it imo as he is the one who gives the most honest feedback.I can't do the spoiler this year as I'm away for several Saturdays

Well to be fair to her Auricula, she has ripped her mastectomy scars so not just a pulled muscle. The only thing I can remember about Melvin at all, is the hideous pink trousers in the first week. I agree Craig has got to be head judge, he's the one that tends to say the things that we both shout out during the dances. I'll do a PM & anyone who gets the spoiler first can put it on there, I can't guarantee that I'll stay up for it every week.

That's what I meant Jilly, she's obviously badly injured and won't / shouldn't dance next week so she should have withdrawn gracefully. However I'm not mourning Melvin...he was rubbish

I think Anastacia and her Dr's know what she should and should'nt do. It's not up to joe public to decide if she should dance or not. Her Dr advised her to modify her dance for saturday night after she injured herself on saturday morning and then said not to dance again on Saturday night. Jilly theinsidegardener often stays up late and gets the spoiler so I'd tag her in to the spoiler thread too. She does still lurk although she's up to her eyes at the moment. I thought it was a really good show at the weekend, the standard of dancing is so high this year. Melvin was very gracious both on the results show and on ITT. I'd like Craig to be head judge too although nothing has been decided. I wonder will they have 4 judges again next year and who will join them.

I really enjoyed the show last night and have watched Craig and Natalie Oti and Danny Ore and Joanne twice, even better the 2nd time.
I enjoyed Will and Karen, I've enjoyed watching them this week on ITT as well. He's really quite funny in a dry sort of way and seems to have really thrown himself into the whole experience.
I thought Claudia and AJ would have had a few more tricks, for me it was all a bit samey if you know what I mean, she's well able for it.
Naga and Pasha did'nt impress me at all and I really did'nt like her costume and Ed and Katya, Anastacia and Brendan were fine but not in any way exciting.
Looking forward to the results show tonight.

I really enjoyed it too but I don't vote as I watch it from a recording when I've had dinner. My faves are still Louise and Kevin but I think Danny will take some beating ( although he can't go on much of a "journey" ) Love Will and Karen too but he doesn't need to make an enemy of grumpy Len Greg and Natalie look like they're having a lot of fun........... A really good line up this year... shame I'll miss the next few weeks ( and the semi final and final of GBBO )

My bottom two would have been Naga and Louise - I thought both were very wooden.
I enjoyed Ed, Lesley, Daisy and Will, thought Danny danced well but I wasn't keen on the choreography.

Lesley Joseph can't half move for a woman of 70 I bet she doesn't have to lean on her trolley at the supermarket

It's amazing isn't it!! I don't think I'd have the energy to get through the training sessions, let alone perform live. I think she's doing brilliantly. 70 is the new 40

Poor Lesley - she wasn't sure if she was staying or going! What was Tameka doing at the end of her dance - she looked like she was really dizzy then did she lift her dress to show she had a knee support on?

Yes I'd heard that last night too Tig. Some people on DS are pretty much demanding he give his "personal reasons" and others are saying it's because of his spat with Len. I think, he's made his statement, just leave it at that but I will miss him as I really like him and enjoyed his dancing.

From what I've read over the years I think he really struggles when he isn't 'in control' and wondered if he bit off more than he could cope with, especially any criticism, I think it knocks his confidence. If you are self-aware and something is having a negative impact on your mental health and wellbeing it is better to walk away from the problem rather than let it start to fester. I don't think anyone has a right to know his reasons though, people should be more considerate of others.
I'll miss him, thought he was putting his heart into it.

I really liked Will......I will miss him...
I agree with you Tig, his reasons are his own and no-one has the right to badger him into disclosing them...

Will is being slaughtered in DS. I agree with you Tig, Missredhead, but some people think that becuse you are in the public eye, you ow the public an explanation for everything. Good thing he says he does'nt go onto things like DS.

I quite admire him for not letting the public's opinion get to him... They are saying that his partner Karen is fuming....don't like her very much...
