Narcissus do put up green way too early but seem fine despite it. Which reminds me that I have to replenish mine. The mice have been at them again

There always seems to be something around that's after your plants, Dutchy, hoping the cats have a say. First time for bulbs here so see what happens...

Yes, sure to Dutchy, be a change having them in the ground instead of pots.

Much less work as most can stay in for next year. Mind you one does occasionally chop through them during summer but hey... a chance to buy new ones... Tulips when planted at at least 5 cm deep can be left too. Some will come back less nice but that is due to the things growers do to tulips. Give it a try Ron. You can then concentrate on other things come next year.

It's getting a bit late, I know, Dutchy, but will wait just another week until roses are either sold or given away as many of the bulbs are going where they are. 2 sold on eBay so far and interest from another to collect some.

Late? I plant my tulips as late as december. You have oodles of time.
I hope your roses find a good home. It must be heart wrenching to let go but such is life. We loose some but we also gain some.

Tulips can easily be planted in December and still flower the following year. Most of the powers that be suggest not even starting planting them until Nov. Dutchy, Ron,

We loose some but we also gain some. 25 out of 27 are sold. Not for a huge amount but at least they won't be wasted. 5 days left on the auction.

Only two to go, that sounds good Ron and if need be you might just squeeze those in somewhere.
