We think we've planted a plum tree in the turning circle, there used to be a Eucalyptus there but our solicitor ran it over!
The lavenders are doing well.
The tulips were some left overs from Aldi, wasn't expecting much from them.
Dad planted the irises, there was a big clump of them but there have been less and less flowers as the years have done by.
Lots of weeding to do too, knew that would happen with an irrigation system in place!

Turkish Delight in one of the pots, I'm growing them in the borders too. The stripes seem to darken as they mature.

This is one of the Tulips Abu Hassan that I've had in a container for a few years now. The colour is so rich. At the plot, I planted my little dwarf apple tree into the soil after several years growing it in a container. The colour of the little flower buds is so rich. I'll post another pic when they open which might be a while as we're having a real cold spell here.

Lovely tulip Ladygardener! I must get my dwarf apple tree in the ground, might take it to school if I can't find a space at home.

Beautiful blossom Tig. Jasmine your little Apple Tree will do better in the ground. I could'nt believe how well mine took off when I planted it after growing it in a container for a few years.

The postie eats some of the apples Ladygardener, he did ask! He passes the little tree each day!

Years and years ago I planted some Dutch Iris and there are 2 left, this is one of them and it comes back to make me smile most years. Some of the more recent Narcissus opening in the garden. I still have others to open as well. I'm surprised they're not all broken after the horrible weather we've had. Little "Pink Halo" Viola this week. These are planted in the herb basket.

This succulent is some prunings from a triffid in the garden that has rooted itself just outside the gate against all the odds! I love the flowers, they close into cones each night and open in the morning.

I love the flowers, they close into cones each night and open in the morning. My Mum brought cuttings of this home from Jersey! She did manage to get it to grow in her Devon garden, until a very bad winter killed it off. Carpobrotus I think it is.

I love those Iris Jasmine. I thought everyone would enjoy these blooms from one of the other plot holders. An early Cornflower I'd sown from seeds.

Some purples this morning. The 1st of the Aquilegia to bloom, this one is in the middle bed. I love this alpina Clematis Blue Dancer. This is the 1st year it has produced decent blooms.

That's going to be covered in flowers Ladygardener! Didn't go far but just took a couple of photos... Lunaria Rediviva White Honesty - I pull zillions of seedlings out every year to keep this under control but it is so pretty!

I'm so pleased that at last it's flowering Jasmine. I love all the Honesty, white and purple and I love the moss on the stones by your lovely little Primrose.

The Alpina clematises are all good doers here Ladygardener, if I had to do a garden again I would only have them and group 3 clems. The group 2s all seem to wilt here. Saw some pictures of Lunaria Corfu Blue in a gardening magazine, I think I am going to try some seeds of that!

Interesting Jasmine, I googled it and some sites say perennial others say annual. I do like the look of it 'tho. It looks to me like the individual flowers on the flower heads are more spaced out that they are with the normal purple/mauve variety. I wonder how blue it is or is it a paler or more blue mauve than the ones in my garden. Here are 2 clumps of purple Honesty in the garden, taken this morning. Here is my dwarf malus at the plot yesterday.

Your little malus is doing really well Ladygardener. I weeded out all the purple honesty over time, now I wish I hadn't!
