Great pictures Ladygardener, I love the different shades of purple in your aquilegias. I bought this Cytisus a few years ago - it is enormous now! I think I am going to have to deal with it after it flowers!

It has so many flowers Jasmine , is it a bee magnet? Barbara , I'm sure you will in due course. It doesn't seem to attract anything sadly Ladygardener, and I'm sure it was sold as a scented plant but I can't detect any scent. I keep looking at it - I think its days are numbered!

Welsh poppies, I have no idea where they came from! One of the last rhoddies to come out. Lupins, I love lupins! Ladygardener, I think you might be right about things being early, this is Rosa Alfred Carriere which grows through the Discovery apple tree. It is now warm and sunny!

The terrace is all pinks, creams, whites and purples except in that corner where it is a cheery yellow every year Barbara. I haven't the heart to dig it out - who wants a colour scheme anyway!!!

Colour schemes are over rated Jasmine. Those Lupin are fab!! No sign of any flowers on mine yet, yours are so early! A couple of poppies at the plot yesterday.

It has so many flowers Jasmine , is it a bee magnet? I saw a bee on it yesterday@ladynovicegardener, well, I heard it first! Not sure how successful it was being getting in the flowers but it tried for a while, perhaps they have to be more open

I would somehow have thought the bees would love it Jasmine, just shows you. Will you cut it back hard when it has finished flowering then? I have quite a few Geranium "Bill Wallis" all from the original seeds sent by my lovely friend on here many many years ago. I manage to keep in control of them and have them both at home and at the plot. I do love them.

There's no holding Bill Wallis back is there Ladygardener! I plan to give it a good cut back once the flowers have gone over - once the flowers open properly I am going to keep an eye on what visits!

A couple from this morning. Clematis Dr. Ruppel is doing well now that I've gotten to grips with the pruning. Geum "Wet Kisses" bought to me by either Jenny or Ruth and Jenny as part of my birthday present at Mount Stewart. Rose "Blue for You" smells lovely.

Your Viburnum is stunning and that's a lovely bit of planting with the Thalictrum which is obviously very happy.

I think the placing of the thalictrum was luck more than judgement Ladygardener, but that's often the way isn't it? Good old nature!

It still sells very very well here - in the USA under another name but no where else it seems...certainly not the UK... I can always get you another Jasmine, should you need one...

Oh thank goodness Rosefriend, I can relax! I could pay you for the plant and postage and it wouldn't be any different to the first one. I remember Olaf's big box arriving - how many years ago - and packing all the bare roof AFs up and sending them out!

I would take cuttings Ladygardener , I have a lovely rose of Rosefriend 's that grew from cuttings brought over on one of RF's visits but they aren't quite the same as the grafted ones. It would certainly be better than not having AF at all!
