Sounds like a good idea Jasmine,. Bon Voyage, hope you all have a great time. Ruth was in the Tower Ballroom yesterday sussing it out as a venue for a very important event she is organising for next spring. She told the person showing her it that her mum and Sister are big strictly fans and they gave her access to the boxes and behind the stage etc. They let her take lots of pics to show us and it really is the most incredible building and the ceiling is fantastic. She will go ahead and book it for the event.  Ladygardener, |

We enjoyed the final too and it was a great win for Kelvin and Oti. Their showdance was great.
We have Dancing with the star's Ireland in another couple of weeks thankfully. We love it and again it makes no difference if I don't know the celebs. You soon get to know who is who.
Dancing on ice and strictly both have Christmas specials coming up.

I enjoyed the Christmas special, OH did something clever so we could watch it. Nice to see the celebs again and everyone did a good job of being Christmassy in October or whenever it is filmed!

Did you know Kevin is leaving strictly ?. I'd not heard that Barbara, off to focus on other aspects of his career it seems Jasmine. I know he's been in Rock of Ages on the stage and I think he does a tour as well. I was'nt a particular fan of his but he grew on me a bit when he stood in for Neill this year. Does anyone remember Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova from the early series? they announced on twitter that they're expecing a baby sister for daughter Valentina in september after a long journey. They're both involved in Dancing With the Stars Ireland and he also stands in as judge for Julian for a couple of weeks each series. |

I don't know their names Ladygardener, but I didn't watch Strictly at the start - lovely news though. Must be true about Kevin as it's on FB! Sounds like he wants to go out on a high and spend time on other things - good luck to him! |

I didn't read anything that said why Barbara, just that he had enjoyed his 4 years on SCD and had made it to the semi finals several times - perhaps it was all 4 times. |
