I love how they change as they age.

Corydalis solida Beth Evans, lots of buds and the first flowers just opening, couple more hellebores, crocus and a red anemone which has been nibbled a bit.

Lovely spring flowers Jasmine. Hellibore give interest for such a long time don't they. That's the first Anemone I've seen this year Tig, bet it stands out well.

You'd think so LG, but somehow I missed it when it was pristine, it looked like it had been open for a few days before I spotted it

This Hellibore Anemone centred pink has it's flower right at soil level. Should I dig it up a bit, it might be too deep.... what do folk think?

I think they have to be planted deep don't they ?

Something is eating the leaves of my alliums, I'll have to put a beer trap out later.

I think your hellebore flower just has a stumpy stalk Ladygardener, see what happens with any other flowers that come out.

Well I think your a lot cleverer than me Ladygardener, I love than little hellebore at least you can see how lovely the flower is if it was taller it would droop down.

Thanks maggy Jasmine, I added some mulch around the Hellibore a while back and wondered if I'd smothered it but as you say, I'll leave it for now.

maggy I hope you get your pics sorted with windows 10, I'm sure someone in the family will work it out with you. It's still hit and miss for me and more luck than anything else.

Yes leave it LG, it will settle down and the flowers will be taller next year, some of them don't like being disturbed.

Those muscari are an amazing colour mickthecactus! Are the narcissu bulbocodium white petticoat?

Beth Evans has been glorious this year, there are daffs out everywhere, the two cheap pots were plonked in the gap after I cut back the euonymus fortunei emerald & gold and have made a great filler, more tulips are starting to open & bees are about

Tig and Ladygardener, sorry to disappoint you but the Muscari are the darker than the picture. The camera made the blue paler than it actually is.

Regret I don't know the name of the bulbocodium Tig. And you have some lovely Daffs!

I love the flowers Tig but especially love the busy bee. My 2 best tidier uppers get busy bee stickers each day!
