Toffee brought in a mouse last night. It was alive the first time she came in before she managed to escape out the cat flap with it again.
Second time I pinned her down in the utility room and got the poor bugger off her.

Awh poor you April but of course that was meant as a present for you
Nothing you can do really it is just their nature - does Toffee wear a bell

Yeah she has a collar with a bell and is a lil fat thing so I blame the wildlife for being stupid enough to get caught by her.
Schmickles and toffee are a little slimmer and can move quicker so I'm not surprised if they bring stuff in but Schmickles doesn't really bother.

Seeing the pic of the black & white kitty laying on the box reminded of a cute one we had of a little one we called Sadie..here she is.. She decided to climb in a bowl we had used to pick lima beans.

Well I am well pee'd off with the 'thing' today! She has been very good recently when it comes to hunting ... but for some reason she turned into 'devil' Cat again today - she is well fed and doesn't need to subsidise her intake with wildlife, but she caught and ate a sparrow (and was immediately sick as a pig on the lawn!) I had a 'huff' with her, words were spoken, looks exchanged ... you know the drill! Just been out and she is sat, proud as punch, by the back door with a mouse She will no doubt be very 'loud' in the morning, expecting to be applauded for her skills as huntress of the night! But there will be no fussing and more stern looks from me .. won't last, you are right NO - they do take over the world we live in x Tig

Fred the ginger puss bought me a sparrow this morning - trouble was it was still very much alive and gave me a fright as it flew up the stairs! I managed to shut it in a bedroom and open a window and eventually it flew out and not too much cr*p left behind! Fred is fast asleep on the sofa in the conservatory as i'm typing looking all innocent! I've also been given another cat to rescue today. My elderly neighbour is having to move up north to be nearer his family and cant take his cat with him - I'm going to look after Sascha once he's moved. She's a black and white puss - rather large and a bit timid - it migh take a while to settle her in here but at least she'll know the garden. Looking forward to it once I get back from holiday.

Cats always find the most comfortable spot don't they. I bought the sardines, cost 70 pence or something, did he like them. He tasted the sauce, decided he did'nt like them and left the lot. I'll stick to tuna in brine for his treats for now on.
