I had cats as a child and as an adult but I never really liked them..I am more of a dog person.

I used to be frightened of dogs, not so much nowadays altho I'm a bit allergic to dog-dander...and start sneezing as soon as one gets too close. They always seem to smell of damp carpets.....I don't think that we'll ever get another dog, and OH says that when Priya is no more we won't be getting another pussycat... I can't imagine being without a cat...

The soggy doggy season is almost here. Spring.. We too have a large old dog & he tends to get a bit smelly when he is wet. We also have 3 outdoor cats & 1 indoor. The indoor cat loves Phil. He will walk behind him & rub on his head. He also loves getting scratched behind the ears & he sits & kicks. He will also rub on Phils knuckles or what ever part he can. He is a funny cat. He is 10 y.o. now.

Aw...sounds like a bit of a sweetie... ;D My cat climbs onto the sofa and snuggles up to me when I'm on my laptop...if I ignore her she 'meeps' at me until I give her some fuss....

Had to take toffee to the vets earlier. She's been sneezing for about a week, then I noticed it was getting a bit snotty, but none on her nose, so I just thought I'll keep an eye on her. I went upstairs this afternoon and her left eye was all gunky. I figured she's probably got a bit of cat flu and the vet confirmed it. Given her an antibiotic injection and I've got to put drops in her eye twice a day for 10 days.
She seems to have forgiven me because she was smoothing around me not long ago.
Oh, and I got the vet to give her a worming tablet too so she was doubley unhappy with me lol

She'll be OK. I've forgiven her for snotting up my clean windows so she should forgive me for taking her out in the car, getting a thermometer shoved up her arse by the vet and a worming tablet down her throat lol

Not likely!! She took a chunk out of the nurse's hand who was giving her the worming tablet and she won't come near me now I've pinned her down this evening and possibly got some drops in her eyes.
Toffee forgives you because she wants wet food! Thinks with her stomach that one. Maybe that's why she's 350 grams heavier than Pudding lol

I forgot to say.... the kitten in my profile pic had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks ago. He had something called FIP Poor thing. His twin brother has been tested I think and as far as I know he's OK. Feel so upset for my friends though who adopted them both.
