Meet Jazz.............the latest edition to our family ;D. A 12 week old English Springer Spaniel! She was found roaming the streets by a friend, who is a local bobby. After 2 weeks, noboby claimed her, can you believe that . She was riddled with fleas, had worms and was under nourished. No words can describe the that did this to her. Anyway, she's here to stay and we just love her to bits! Mother Susie x

I took her to work with me today and everybody fell in love with her straight away! So, apart from her eating half a tray of lobelia, everything was fine and we had loads of fun S x

She looks great Susie. Some people should never have dogs or any animals for that matter. I remember a story of someone who couldn't handle her three alsations anymore. Did she take them to the RSPCA? No she blindfolded them and set them lose on the motorway!!! One was killed, but two were saved and hopefully ended up in good homes. The excuse for the blindfold?? She said when they got killed, they wouldn't be able to see the vehicle coming at them!!! Who does things like this, it nearly made me sick, just hearing about it? Keith

Ok Lottie, will do next time. Sorry! Jazz is one of the lucky ones who has gone to a very good home! Many years ago, when I heard this story, it shocked me to the bones. Why couldn't she have just take them to her nearest vet or RSPCA centre???

not that you need any 'encouragement', Susie - but when this was a Spaniel household, I was told that bitches were more biddable than dogs, and predominantly white bitches were best of all... OM.

Make sure you are with them when they are together Susie, just in case Tilly whacks her and scratches her eyes. This is personal choice food wise - I would go easy on the meaty processed food with dry food - there are a lot of fresh natural meat foods available that are better for their kidneys. Nature Diet is a good one. If you are wondering why I am up - bad dream - thanks Madon LLx

Well, so far I'm two primula and a sempervivum down! Not bad for the first day in the garden . She also likes a mouthful of composted manure Tilly is getting more and more inquisitive about her. It's really funny watching her as she at least doubles in size every time she gets anywhere near Jazz! S x
