I covered ours with a fleece and planted marigolds around the edge of the bed mickthecactus,, I don't know what did the trick but we have had lots of lovely leeks this year, I dug the last half dozen out last week |

I've sown 50 muselburgh leek seeds this morning into a tray, they are in the back kitchen for now but going to the GH on the allotment tomorrow.
