Erm... we aren't having smoked mackerel tonight - someone (me!!! ) forgot to buy it! OH kindly stopped off at Somerfield and bought two steaks for our dinner tonight, which I think will go nicely with the jacket potato and salad.

Mrs Cactus has gone up town with my daughter and will be at Paul O'Gradys show this evening so I will be cooking.
Nothing grand (although I can do grand) - pasta with Matessons sliced garlic sausage and some smoked bacon in home made tomato sauce (actually home grown onions, courgettes and tomatoes cooked with some spices, whizzed in the processor then frozen). Yum!

They had a lovely time. Miss Cactus (who is also a Mrs as well) was rather sneaky though. She has a friend in the BBC who gave her tickets because Take That (minus Robbie) were on and Miss cactus is a huge fan.
The only thing that they were disappointed with was that during the breaks there was no interaction between P. O'G and the audience. But then they thought that he didn't look that well.
