She's called Poppy!
Btw I caught that Paul O'Grady show with Take That - they all looked like tramps, except for Gary Barlow (sounds like someone out of Coronation Street - that is his name isn't it?) who looked as though he had been working in a DIY store. Sorry to anyone who DOES work in a DIY store!!!

Am I the only one eating tonight ;D ;D.
Just had Tesco Shortcrust pastry Steak Pie, there doing 2 for £5 at the moment and I thoroughly recommend them, excellent for a bought pie even better than M&S. Had Mash, Cauli, Broc, brussels, white sauce and Gravy with it.

Susie that sounds delish....my OH doesn't like pork so we never have it (unless I'm in a restaurant) Yesterday we had visitors so we had free-range chicken roasted, a flan with goats cheese and roasted mediterranean vegetables (M&S) with butter-crisp new potatoes (I had boiled cos I'm dieting) and vast quantities of salad. Lemon cheesecake for pud (yes I was tempted and had a HUGE slice ;D) Today we had jacket spuds with coleslaw,+ cheese for OH and the remains of the chicken and salad...sadly no cheesecake....

I was bored this afternoon so we had chicken chasseur with roast spuds, green beens, broccolli and cheesy leeks (leeks in a cheese sauce topped with bread crumbs) and I made a chocolate cheese cake for pud. I also made a rich fruit cake but I have put that away for later in the week - I am stuffed. Yummy! (can you tell Ive joined OH on his diet?smiley)

We will be having Sweet and Sour Pork and fried rice today, to use up yesterdays leftover pork ;D But I will be cheating and using a jar of Sharwoods sauce - can't find a recipe for S & S that we like Sometimes use the pork up, sliced cold with bubble and squeak potato cakes and pickles.

Plocket heres an explanation of competitive eating...
OHwas brought up in a family of 5 chiildren on a bus drivers wages, (if you didnt eat your fill, there was nothing left to come back for), consequently the whole family fall on food like its going out of fashion! Somehow this attitude has followed them all throughout their lives, and they are all quite overweight.

Could you have LP to stay for a couple of weeks so that she learns about eating faster??? ;D

I think we may be reduced to beans on toast or something similar tonight. Mrs Bill is planning to make a chilli, but this improves with standing for a day so will not be ready for tonight.
