So envious Jilly - mine froze back to the ground for the 3rd year in succession. I thought I had lost it - it is certainly not happy but I may just be able to keep it alive, it won't stand another bad winter though...

Silene 'Firefly' Just as a complete contrast - a very pale pink shrub rose. And a lovely shrub - Kolkwitzia amabilis This Dianthus is called 'Sugar Plum'

Mortimer Sackler - I have 2 of these now and they are great - hardly any thorns which makes securing them to the fence quite easy and for a DA rose quite blackspot free!

Thank you LG! Mortimer is a great rose to train as you don't tend to get thorns in you and it has long willowy branches that just sort of go one way or the other!
