Here are a couple of Sunset I have just bought Sunset and a week after I planted it it all but died...it seems to be coming back bit by bit now...nice to see it flowering Bagpuss....it goes so well together with the blossom... That looks particularly lovely against the Pyracanthus blossom BP. Gertrude Jekyll Jillyx So envious Jilly - mine froze back to the ground for the 3rd year in succession. I thought I had lost it - it is certainly not happy but I may just be able to keep it alive, it won't stand another bad winter though... RF

One of my favourite plants. Silene 'Firefly' Just as a complete contrast - a very pale pink shrub rose. And a lovely shrub - Kolkwitzia amabilis This Dianthus is called 'Sugar Plum'

A couple of pinks from me... Mortimer Sackler - I have 2 of these now and they are great - hardly any thorns which makes securing them to the fence quite easy and for a DA rose quite blackspot free! Peony Kansas - the first peony properly open in my garden.

Thank you LG! Mortimer is a great rose to train as you don't tend to get thorns in you and it has long willowy branches that just sort of go one way or the other! I love peonys, they are one thing that bunnies don't even taste test, they leave them right alone!

Wow, love that Peony Jasmine. This is Wisley, another David Austin one, I haven't been too impressed with it for the 2 years I've had it but it must have just been getting going, because it's looking lovely this year. Jillyx
