Lovely photo Paul - so peaceful I saw a killer whale on Vancouver Island on a small beach in Gold River - it loomed up out of the water without warning and seemed to blot out the sun and the sky I was quite close to it too I felt so small, so humble and very very privileged j w x

That's a lovely photo Rita - I live close to Buxton - and so many times whilst travelling home have seen such massive massive sun sets - the sun huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge as it drops down into the horizon and being so high up you feel as if you are on level with it all Of course never have a camera with me - but now it sits in the car with me - waiting, waiting for that moment - may have to wait until next year now

Here are a couple of Suffolk sunrises taken in the last couple of weeks. The colours have not been doctored or enhanced in any way. Just for the hell of it, there's a picture of a rainbow from the other afternoon as well. FA x

They are lovely, aren't they. I tried to get a good picture but to be honest, the pictures don't do justice to them really because they covered the WHOLE sky in front of my house whereas the pictures only show a portion of it. Nevertheless, I'm pretty pleased with the way they came out, especially the 2nd one.

Yes Busy Bee I thought the same - a lounge picture that certainly is - or my office Our secretary was complaining last week that she feels tired looking at the grey walls in our offices - it would perk the wall up opposite her desk - not sure how to enlarge it up to massive proportions tho
