I know I shouldn't: snapped on the move while driving across the grazing marshes this pm: 'twas just the western horizon lit up, everywhere else inky black cloud and rain... OM.

This was taken at 5pm last night. And it is true to colour, I just had to snap it. That has to be the best one I've seen Carol, fantastic I took some from the top of my neighbours garden tonight, my garden is lower and I just couldn't get a good shot. Can't find my d/l cable atm though

The sunsets and sunrises at the moment are glorious but they are difficult to take from our house when I'm not even dressed in the mornings and pottering about with LP in the evenings ;D I'm really loving the photos too - so atmospheric

Oh how beautiful! I love the sky in autum - the light is so much softer than in the summer, and more colourful than in the winter (generally!)

Watched the sunrise this morning, not in a rural landscape though, but as long as it keeps shining - fine by me x Tig

Lovely Tig, very dramatic contrast between nature and man made!! And aren't we having some gorgeous sunsets too? I'm usually on the way home from work and will probably have an accident shortly due to staring in the rear view mirror at the sunset. Oh the winter sky!! It's the only good thing about winter I can think of. I'm a summer person me.

Well there's a turn up. While I was gazing in my rear view mirror at the sunset today OH was taking pictures of it while walking the dog. Here they are.
