Let's see your blue flowers. Not many of them around but when you see them, they're usually spectacular. Here's my fairly rain soaked plumbego capensis

This is an absolutely gorgeous thread. I've come back to look at the Blues more than any of the other colour threads.
Such wonderful pics as well.
Congrats to everyone.

It's a Cornflower but don't know what sort, it was there all on it's own. It's this weird mild weather making everything go cranky ;D ;D

Busy Bee did you ever find out what that blue flower from your holiday pics was called? It looks like a sedum of some kind in the leaf shape/thickness but the flower is extraordinary!

Unfortunately have not been able to ID it SL, it was a fab colour though and was so vibrant on the beach. The flower is similar to a Blue Pimpernel but much bigger and more open and the size of the old 1/2p and the leaves were thick and fleshy like a succulent leaf.

WB you been going around with your eye shut ;D We did a load of threads ages ago on colours probaly 6 of them. Unfortunately some of the member have removed the pics from there album and you just see a red x in a box. Greenwizzard had some really fab ones, better than fab they were amazing Susie The leaves were succulent type like a Portulaca but the petals are too open, if I recall Portulaca have a more cupped flower if you get what I mean. I may go up the west coast again in Apr may so will look out for it again. May have little tuppaware, damp kitchen roll and diggin gadget in pocket

Pretty! It looks a bit like a lobelia from this distance. And the other thought that popped into my head was campanula. I think it might be a bit early in the year for both of them though
