In Spring my plan was to have the Anagallis monellii plants in the front garden in front of white marigolds and deep red busy lizzies (patriotic colours anyway) but I only managed to get a couple of plants through, so I bunged them in the back. I am definitely going to have another go next year...they are lovely plants. RF

Gosh what a lovely colour and form that little plant has RF. I looked it up and see it's won a RHS merit award and no wonder.

I think that the plant is wonderful - I only wish that I had got a few more through - it would make a wonderful display if there were 10/15 of them, or in a hanging basket ...they never seem to stop flowering... I got the seeds from T & M and will definitely buy another lot when I order again.. seeds.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en/product/6106/1RF

Thompson and Morgan's photo doesn't do the flower any justice at all. Your photo is so detailed DG it looks as though someone has given the flower a wash of blue.

Looking at the other varieties on their website, I'm wondering if maybe there was a mix-up with the seeds because this looks more accurate. Not like a seed company to cock things up... seeds.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en/product/6359/2

Thought I'd share a pic of my hyacinth just coming into bloom, I can't believe how quickly they've shot up since I brought them inside but can't find the thread I was talking about them on. The scent is delicious. RF If only I could smell them (mine has been static since end of December, it must have gone on strike!) x Tig

Tig and Jasmine, thank you so much for the nominations, The scent in my living room is just lovely with them, I have 5 in total but it's not too much. I've got a few sticks propping them up now 'tho they're a bit floppy as i've had the heat on so much.
