Think it could be that one, don't have the label. Mine are growing in very well drained soil, though the incessant rain helps. Another one I had didn't flower for a few years, but it is fine again. To be honest, I don't bother much with the flowers, the foliage is so great.

Oh Plocket, that is one of my favourites. Every time I go to Taylors website, I'm tempted, and that has pushed me further along the road

WeeT it is a lovely little clematis and I can't recommend it enough. It's lovely as a border filler and will spread through and lean on other plants just fitting in nicely. Go for it - you know you want to!!! ;D

Spotted this the other day, I love the white everlasting SP, have several of them in the garden this year. They put on a really good show and are no trouble at all, they grow, flower, die back and then you just chop um down and next year they come back....brill ;D pity they don't smell like their cousins though.

That is gorgeous Chuckles. I can never get it to grow, though a neighbour has given me three little seedlings to try again. I wish I could be as successful with it as you.

In my experience Acidanthera (now known as Gladiolus Communis BTW) flower well the first year but you're lucky to get any flowers in subsequent years. Haven't grown them for a while but they used to be pretty cheap and I would treat them as bedding. Used to get the odd flower the second year but not really worth all those unproductive leaves. I even used to save bulbils and grow them on but they never flowered
