Hi Sara. Love those Dwarf Lilies. So delicate looking. Do they have just the one flower per stem? Does the bulb throw up lots of stems? Or is that it, just one perfect bloom per bulb?

They are absolutely gorgeous Nightowl. I wish we could find out exactly what what sort they are, - I would change my mind about not having Lilies and buy some.

I did read in a magazine that you could cut Waterlilys as an indoor flower (if you could bear to do it ;D), to stop them closing up at night you 'seal' the underside of the flower with melted wax.......I haven't been brave enough to try it, and the flowers I've had have been in the middle of the pond (don't fancy getting wet just to give it a try !!!)

DG, your photos are gorgeous but the size of them is a pain in the bum! Though I have found that going to Reply and out again makes them a sensible size ( dunno how ) In your first one, with the white Love-in a-mist, what's that purple bobbly-looking thing alongside it? ?

RF, what is that fabulous mop-headed thing!!!! I saw one the other day in someone's front garden and at first thought it was a Hydrangea, before seeing the plant properly!! No way have I got the space for one but still want to know what it is. It's gorgeous!!!!

Hi NO - well it is a Hydrangea arborescens "Annabella" and it is cut back each winter which is different from the normal Hydrangeas.
It is marvellous in a large tub - I had one for years in a tub - every2/3 years I used to half it and pop it back - it looked a dream. See if you can get a bit from someone - it grows quickly.

What's the 2nd one's name Chuckles in post of 30th? It's so pretty, looks like bits of torn paper with those ragged edges

Gorgeous DG and Skarloey - I love white in the garden although I am slowing getting too much of it.
Your second photos DG - it looks like a Plumeria (Frangipani) variety to me.
RF
Update: I have changed my mind - it is an Oleander I think??
