These are my Chelsea and GWL 2006 photos and I am hoping they may tempt Gardenhammerette to post her Chelsea ones too as I am wondering if she is hiding any more Chris Beardshaw and Dairmuid Gavin photos Oh and before you wonder Yes I am REALLY excited about going to Chelsea again this year and Yes I did do a bit of celeb stalking spotting at GWL! Capt I've got my 'girl head' on today....the one that likes handbags and fluffy kittens and I've gone blonde ;D ;D!! You'll have to enlighten me....who's Jane Moore? I have found out that it was at Chelsea 2003 (a fine year I recall ;D), with the HMP Leyhill lads doing a great garden, Julian Dowle and his Yorkshire garden and Tom Stuart-Smith doing something very pleasing for Laurent-Perrier & Harpers. However, we did have to suffer the Dyson ........... A quick reminder for anyone else being blonde today !!! www.rhs.org.uk/Learning/publications/pubs/garden0703/chelsea.aspGH

I should perhaps point out that full details of all of the main RHS Garden Shows, including the BBC's GWL, together with several others, have been added to the GWD Calendar. So if you need to check on ticket prices, dates, directions etc, have a look at the Calendar. For instance, this is what we have - so far - for May 2007

The Mini Garden won a silver in 2003 in the Courtyard section. It was by Jane Moore (entered under the name of Sullis Garden Designs), who amongst other things does write for the GW mag (well spotted LL). Thanks for posting the picture – I’ve been searching for one for ages

I'm so sorry, LL, Capt, Duchy, I've had a look and I don't have any more digital images of the Mini , only 'real' photographs (I took both cameras 'just incase' of malfunction!!) I do remember that the inside of the vehicle was being used as a greenhouse ;D, tomatoes growing I think!! GH

;D Nice. Pity you have no pics of that. I wonder how long it would take this greencarhouse to fall apart. With tomatoes on the inside it must be a haven for rust particles.

LL Read in the latest issue of The Garden, that CB is hosting an evening at Blenheim Palace on 8th May...apparently it coinsides with the launch of his new book 'How does your garden grow?', there's a drinks reception too and book signing!!!

<bigsighsmiley> I saw it GH! I won't be going even though it's not that far away really. Wonderful place to 'look' at him though. I do have a fantasy (steady!!! ) that I could retire to Woodstock - it really is a charming place. If only I knew the right lottery numbers.....
