;D One right
Ruthie, could yours be London Pride?

Not a succulent and not London Pride tho' I admit it bears a resemblence. It's in flower now and is one of a huge genus of alpine plants (including London Pride). Oh d##m, now I've given it away.

Not as far as I am cncerned. But you can give me the Latin for London pride later on as I do not know that one. Must be as common as shoes in the city though

Said I'd given it away didn't I! However, You've only got half of it and as there are loads and loads of different varieties I can't reallt accept that can I! BTW Dutchy, London Pride is Saxifraga X urbium (bet it helps no end to know that!!)

Suparuthie
When you upload to Photobucket, try changing the maximum size of the pictures to 640 x 480 pixels (Message board size) - when you go to "my album", there's an options link just above where the 3 "Browse" buttons are.
Cheers

BTW Dutchy, London Pride is Saxifraga X urbium (bet it helps no end to know that!!) Yes it does as I can now have a closer look at it. It does not like the afternoon sun, loves moisture and is as tough as old boots. Good eh Knew there were more shoes in London than one can count.

p.s. FA's tip is a really good one as you then no longer have to downsize your pics. Photobucket does it for you and the board does not get bloated. Nifty eh?

Well done Tig. It is indeed fortunei, though I can't remember the hybrid name 'cos the dog ate the label when he was a puppy. I don't think you see this plant often enough. The picture doesn't really do it justice and the fact that it flowers so late in the year is an added bonus. I like it so much I bought another couple of different hybrids last year. They've grown well but the slugs/snails have eaten the flower buds May have to move them nearer to the other one which hasn't been affected.

OK - have a guess at these - two for the price of one - fairly easy as they are always taken in the week they are posted 1) or 2)
