Piggin I did a "congratulations" to you immediately after your 500th post but I can't remember which thread it was on! I'm sorry to hear you are feeling down - think positive - the working day must surely be more than half way done; the fly has a shorter lifespan than you; you have peace and quiet for a week (?) and - well you think of some!!! <hug> Px Oh thanks Plocket I must've missed that one. Being on here cheers me up, I think I'd go bats without you lot!! I've only got peace & quiet 'til Wednesday, he's back then. BUT - in the immortal words of Ian Dury, Reasons to be cheerful: Everyone on here Sausages for dinner tonight The current peace and quiet PG

I keep checking just in case anyone's prepared to talk to me!!!! ;D Are you warmer and less smelly now Busy Bee? Much warmer and less smelly thanks, can't believe I tipped it towards me the butt is about 4' high and was 1/3rd full of stinking yukky water with sludge in the bottom and dead snails. Once the weight came my way I couldn't stop it. I'm still smiling though ;D Congratulations LL, guess my next 50 will sneak up on me and I'll be a 5 starer.

I've been up since 4am Isabella but I read my book which is an unaccustomed luxury. Couldn't you sleep either? I really hate laying in bed trying to sleep. Too dark to feed the goats still, I am NOT doing housework at this time of day, and OH is away for the night so youngest daughter slept with me (diagonally - just like her father....) and the poor dog has been prowling up and down the stairs all night because we're not all present and correct! Anything exciting happening to you later? My new school greenhouse is being delivered at 8.30am which is very exciting! I shall be there to stroke all the packages but I have a bit more work to do before I can try and erect it - got to build a leaf bin and sweep up all the area. I do hope it's not pouring......can't see what it like outside yet! Have a nice day - don't fall asleep at lunchtime or you'll never sleep tonight!

Hello4pygmies, Sorry I didn't answer before. I get up at around 4.30am every day!!! I don't seem to need as much sleep now.I got into the habit of getting up early when our 3 boys were still at home - saved a few arguments over the queue for bathroom in the mornings!! I have to leave for work at 6.45am so I shower etc. sometimes do a bit of ironing (hate it hate it hate it!) make some soup for lunchtime, take OH his breakfast in bed and then off I jolly well go! I have just cut my hours down at work - from 28 to 20 - it's lovely having a bit more time at home! I would be excited about the greenhouse too!! Have you decided what you will grow in it yet? I think it's brilliant that children are being encouraged to be interested in growing things and the environment -our Council have a special class for schools in Woking in Bloom and the children get very involved. I hope you have had a good day Best Wishes Pam

That didn't last long Busy Bee!!! ;D Sorry to desert you P. Had just popped in for a cuppa and the gdn was calling. It's been a lovely day here so have been doing more prep for my veggie bit in the gdn. Still got some clearing to do but wanted to do some digging while it was dryish. Will try and get some pics of before and progress to date.
