I'm growing the tomatoes (courtesy of trunkjo, thanks honeybunch) and the sunflowers....
The tomato seeds were sown a few days ago in pots on a heated propagator. ( seed compost from Wilkinsons)

As a late comer to the site can I ask a question or more to the point make a request!
I have had a look at the trial list and I am afraid I don't have anything thats on the list!!
So now for my request; could we have a section for 'any other variety' in each of the aforementioned genus/groups?
This would also cater for any others who may join GWD from now on, plus it might give people some ideas for 2008!

Hi TG
I have no doubt that OM will reply later but we have said that anyone coming in later to the Trials can use the seeds that they have already bought, or indeed the seeds that they prefer.
We will be doing a spreadsheet later and hopefully gaining some ideas for 2008.

hi TG, and as Rosefriend has said, we became aware that some members had already bought their supplies and were reluctant to start over, or maybe like you had a strong preference for another...
So yes, please feel free to run a parallel 'trial' of plants other than those listed, and though we shan't gain the benefit of your approach to our particular ones, experience shared in the broader sense is very welcome, and has total relevance to plant raising. You have to tell us about any failures too though...!
OM.
