At the mo I'd be glad of a bit of colour in my garden (apart from brown)
BUT
I like laying on my tummy on the grass on a warm (dry) sunny day watching the little greeblies crawling and hopping about.
I like hunting amongst the weeds to find valiant little seedlings bursting into life...magic.
I like to see the sparrows lined up on the fence arguing (and avoiding Priya the cat with consumate ease)
I love checking the flowers for dozing bees
Sitting in the garden at dusk with a big glass of whatever-takes-my-fancy watching the bats swooping over the trees and garden
...mostly summer stuff....sigh......

So, Plocket, are you or are you not, given all the evidence, a Lady? I believe(in a plummy voice) I am. ;D
Sorry Sleepy, for going so far off topic!
I love to see the first signs of spring in the garden, the arrival of migrating birds, the snuffly hedgehog, even the foxes who wake me with their eerie cries, so like a baby. I love to see the cats playing in the falling leaves and hunting imaginary wildlife when they feel particularly energetic, or hiding and leaping on each other from the undergrowth.

I like seeing the birds feeding and bathing, bumblebees and butterflies enjoying all the beautiful flowers, I love seeing things grow and watching my cat (when I have one) lazing in the garden.

I was quite distracted by a cute little robin today, hopping about my pots and plants. He didn't seem all that interested in the food I'd put out yesterday but eventually started tucking in. LP was thrilled to spot him too when she came home from school.

The one thing I really, really like to see is when cactus/succulent seeds germinate. Particularly when they've cost me a lot to buy.
Alos winning at cricket on the lawn against my grandson.
