PG you are a task master ;D Very hard but I'm on a roll with a few now ;D

I keep looking at them and going 'oh' (hopeful thought), 'er' (followed by doubtful thought), a bit of pen twiddling at this stage. Then 'tch' (rising frustration) and finally 'argh' (banging head against brick wall feeling). Went through this with the last couple of quizzes. Like they say, no pain no gain and good fun though ;D

im having trouble finding spooky words in the anagrams let alone anything that fits or is a plant name.!!!! ??

i have got 6 of the answers i think are correct but i cannot get any of the other four.
its very frustrating.
i have spent the last two hours trying to do this!!!!
arrrgghh.
my house is a tip and i have ignored it to do this quizzz!!!!!!

i had a quick look and decided that it would be headwork. i like crosswords and suduko but can't get my head round anagrams or cryptic crosswords

I thought I had done well after I found 3 - my head hurts - I'm giving it a rest (or just admitting I'm rubbish at latin plant names!)

we get more brain torcher tomorrow as well ( I think )

Don't worry if you don't get them all.

It is deliberately made to test your little grey cells, after all, it would be no fun winning with no effort would it!

The trick is to try and spot the spooky element, the rest of the letters will then give you the rest of the plant name.

The winner will be either the person who gets their (all correct) answers in first, or the one with the most correct answers. If someone gets all of them correct, I will be full of admiration!

i so far hve done exactly what piiggin said.
i have looked for the spooky part and then struggled on with the rest of the letters to try and
make them make sense. i thought i was doing well but there are another ten to deal with now!!! arrrgghhhh

My OH says I am taking these anagrams too seriously - I have hardly spoken to him today as I've been gazing into the cryptic clues trying to spot any words that could possibly fit the season (still no luck!) then had my books out looking for clues (no luck there either!)

Lots of blokes would be grateful for a day off - I haven't asked him to do anything all day

I know what you mean Tig, my OH even offered to have a go himself then looked at the list and said - not on your nelly! BUT he did make dinner last night. ;D
Its that bad, I even have people at work giving me halloween related words! The list is getting longer but still no joy, I think Ive 9 but thats as far as Ive got! Its hurting my brain now ;D ;D
AND can you really find 'dooking for apples' in a plants name? OMG the bits of paper are out again! LOL

hello all.
i thought i was going really well having got 7. then the next lot appeared and i now have 11 out of twenty.
i have no hope of getting any more.
i am randomly looking at words.
i have a lot of halloween words but i cant get the plant names!!!!!

i must stop now and have some breakfast ;D ;D (oops its 11 o'clock.)

I feel better now - not that I've found any of the plant names (I only got 5 in the first lot and 2 in the second ) - but at least I am not alone in my sadness - thanks julzmm and rbj
By the way - I found one - really pleased with myself - then I tried to look it up! Couldn't be found anywhere - didn't seem to exist

it fits all the letters but i cannot find it anywhere in any books or on the internet.
im just going to put it in anyway and hope its right.

Not at all rbj - I bet one word leapt out at you - then you can't find anything to go with it !!! Snap!!!

Number 8 of the second lot is doing my head in as well - I found a word but I don't think it's right - so now I am stuck 'cos every time I look at it I see the same word (b***er!)
I think I'm gonna scramble all the letters up again to clear my blockage!
But not until after tea - I need a break!
