Plocket, are you sure it's not Artemesia??? I've just Wikkied Absinthe and it says "Wormwood" ( Artemesia something-I've-forgotten-now) Surely Barbara should have that one? No it's not artemesia although both artemesia and mine were named for particular women and both are herbs. If it helps the "helen" bit isn't the first part of the latin name.

Er NO Shrubrose! Helen isn't the name I'm looking for! You've just got part of the Latin name!!! And it's not always an ingredient for absinthe - it CAN be used in absinthe.

Well, I've just googled herbs and Helenium and came up with Inula Helenium? Elecampane but have never heard of it and have only got it from the clues if it is right Jardack Who is really pants at plant names let alone herbs!
