Bought two of these last year because I liked the colour of the leaves, not a clue what it is though it had no label. Now why did I buy a plant with no label Just noticed that Astrantia growing at the back looks very lush and healthy

The leaves are not right for a Heuchera TG well not one that I've ever seen, colour is though.

Well....stumped again. The lower leaves look like a cineraria silver dust but it's not that. Could it be a type of Erigeron (small teasel/thistle type flowers)

Thanks for all your efforts, I'll keep an eye on it and post another Photo as it grows to see if it becomes more obvious what it is The leaves look like salad Rocket ;D noticed some sort of flower stem coming up yesterday.

Are you sure it might not be a Heuchera Chuckles? Some of the juvenile leaves do look like those and they are several types. Other than that I can't think of anything either.......

It certainly wasn't the first thing that sprang to mind for me. The plant i mentioned above was supposed to say Eryngium....but it doesn't really look like that either. Herbaceous perennials isn't my strong point unfortunately

Had a quick look in the gdn today and it looks like whatever it is may have flowered while I was away If it's not raining tomorrow I'll take a pic.

God knows what it is....all i can tell you is that it is from the dead nettle family (Labiatae) because it has square stems

could it be a type of salvia, some of those have square stems to Thanks Beanie I think you and CPC are spot on with it being a Salvia. Although I can't seem to find the variety by googling, the leaves are definately like a Salvia.
