Yesterday my first mammoth job in the garden was to cut back the massive pampas grass - but noticed two sparrows hanging onto the flower heads and picking bits off They came back numerous times so obviously this is for the nest they were building - so I left it where it was for the moment  Anyone else seen this with theirs jenny |

Hi JW,
I have several large grasses, which I have just cut back but leave all the "rubish" behind so the birds can use it. I get visits from blackbirds, tits, sparrows and even the odd crtow and magpie.
