I'm trying to grow these from seed and not getting anywhere. I tried in an electric propagator and got nowhere. Then put the pot in the fridge for a couple of weeks before returning to the warm propagator - still nothing. Have now put them in the cold frame. Has anyone got any suggestions. I've tried looking on the web at the RHS site but couldn't find any more info. I think I might try again in September/October - might that be a better idea?

I would say this is better, put them in the fridge until then.
Week 40; Plants raised from seed will not be identical to the parent plant.
Sow seed 12mm (½”) apart in pots/trays of seed compost and place in a cold frame to stratify - chilling is needed to break the seeds dormancy.

I know that feeling Jonah - have been investigating a local nursery which stocks it but they told me that their stock plants are doing too well! At least that's being honest! Also having trouble with Geranium Phaeum - probably end up buying that one as well!
