Hi all,
I got two Datura plants a couple of weeks ago. I've planted them in large pots, with plenty of drainage, but a couple of leaves are going yellow. They were horribly pot-bound and very wet when I bought them (Lidl special offer); is there anything I can do to help them recover? they're showing plenty of new growth, it's just the yellow leaves I'm worried about ... cheers ...

It's quite natural for Datura to lose leaves.....especially when they've been traumatised (too dry, pot bound etc)
As long as they're growing well, i wouldn't worry about it. Daturas will grow like mad and will eventually get to 10' if allowed. They love the sun, lots of food and big pots. They also need lots of water in the growing season.
Just keep an eye out for pests....mealy bug and especially red spider mite absolutely love Datura !!!
