I helped a friend in her garden in April and one of the jobs was to move a Clematis and Passion Flower she had in a pot into the ground. Couple of young pieces of the Passion Flower that were in the compo had signs of roots so she said I could have them to see if they grew.
I potted them up and the bits I trimmed off were put in water with the hope they may root. Well the semi rooted ones are doing fine, not huge plants but they will come in time. The 4 trimmings which are about 4" long were put in water in the GH for 4 weeks, then the last 3 weeks they have been in the HP. Just been and looked at them and 2 have got roots coming, I'm sooooooo chuffed.

What a clever girl ;D
Only 2 of my cuttings have taken, one from each of my passionflowers. I gave the white one to a colleague, but I'm keeping the little violet one for myself....<greedygirlsmiley>...it's only tiny but pretty healthy looking whereas the other one grew like a weed...I had to give it away before it took over the GH!
