Well, I'd say it was definately a Pelargonium, probably a regal type!

Phew, no slugs! ;D Thank you everyone, it looks like a pelargonium now I've had a google. The leaves didn't look like the pelargoniums I'm used to seeing.  I've come across this site with loads of Angel/ Pansy face ones, but I don't know if I'd be able to ID it if it's one of those. Pelargonium Radnens?? Can you rub the leaf and tell us whether the smell is "cat pee/sauvignon blanc" or something else? Have a look at www.geraniumsuk.com/ who I can recommend, as not only did they send my little collection of smelly plants, but some free samples, some more free samples and £45 of vouchers! |

nightowl is right it looks like one of the angel eyes series. i bought some angel pelargoniums earlier this year but have lost half of them. the stems went mouldy and they just died. think i'll stick to the larger ones in future
