HELP! Does anyone know the name of the Black Lily

that was part of the Lily display at Hampton Court this year. I couldn't see the name of it when I was there, and I don't remember the name of the growers either.

I have tried to google for a Black Lily, but with no luck (not even on Hart's Nursery either).

that's the problem when you start looking for something it ends up costing you money, the prices of the lilies are reasonable considering they are new varieties. glad you found what you were looking for

I found this site purely by chance, but its a good one. Though the reasonable prices are dangerous, because its.......................3 of this, and this,and this and this until I've spent a fortune!
How I would love to throw caution to the winds and buy one of the really expensive ones! There is a beautiful white double Ahhhhhhhhhh.

I'm starting to find Lilies rather addictive. Never had any til 3 years ago, dunno why not.

Now I think they are fabulous, so many different types, and that scent!!!! Heavenly!!! And they are sooo easy too!

I never used to have lillies either, until my mum gave me hers last year as she was getting fed up with never being able to see them flower, because the birds in her garden kept destroying the buds.

Like you, now I have them, I don't know why I didn't have them before, and now I would like more of them, and as you say, the scent ....

I think I might get the Ebony lilly, which is the one which was at Hampton Court, and I think I would like the Eyeliner one as well, as I think they would compliment each other very nicely.
