Chuckles, Tig & Suparuthie, thanks for your kind comments. I hope to have plenty more pictures to show you as spring turns into summer. This Friday and Saturday we have the A & P Show which should be fertile ground for pictures.
Re: The Tardis, we await a decision from Plocket. Once she gives the go ahead, it will be all aboard for the ride of your life! ;D

I am in negotiations with Donna at the moment because she's really miffed that we want to borrow it, despite the fact that I had my foot through the door long before she came on the scene. I'll keep working her though! ;D Gorgeous flowers Roan - isn't it funny that when you see a rose you can practically smell it? I guess that's because it's such a well known scent. They are all lovely but the roses are my faves

Don't suppose there were names on the roses?? Sorry, the roses have been there a long long time and if they had names they would have been lost over the years. Pity, as they are really nice. There are many old gardens like this on country stations that date back to an era when coming to town was a major exercise and the ladies would have occupied themselves by having lovely gardens.

The second Rose looks like Compassion.........was it a climber Roan? Mind you there are so many Roses and a lot of them are very similar to each other Thanks again Roan for the pics. It looks to me as if you have Spring and Summer all rolled into one over there!

It looks to me as if you have Spring and Summer all rolled into one over there! It was a climber as was the one further down, so you could well be right. No, this is definitely Spring, it's still quite cold at night and only moderately warm during the day. Today is overcast with a high expected of 21C and the possibility of a shower or two later on. Tomorrow is the first day of our A & P Show, although we will go on Saturday which is the really popular day. Everyone will be there! It's a great chance to catch up with everyone as well as see all the displays. There will be show jumping, dog trials, shearing and judging of breeds. There are also lots of businesses showing off their wares as well as food stalls, wine stalls and of course side shows for the young and young at heart!

You really like your Pelargoniums don't you Roan, and it's easy to see why. They're lovely. Do they overwinter outside with you or do you have to bring them in?

Lucky you!! I missed taking cuttings from mine and the frost has finished them off <stompstompsmiley> I found some huge strawberries today on plants in my front border - unfortunately the s & s plus frost have done for them! They don't get fed, I don't bother to water them - how come they grow four times bigger than the ones I look after in the veg plots ;D Keep 'em coming Roan .. x Tig
