This is the latest sleeping place of choice for this summer My Lithodora and Campanula are not coping well with the weight of a monster moggy on top of them all the time!

izzy has taken to sleeping on the couch instead of our bed for the last week. I though I woud get to sleep later in the mornings, but he still comes up to pat my face to be let out. Usually about the 6am mark. I go back to bed but you can guarentee half an hour later he comes back in wailing for food.

My cat has gone funny too! (sorry, funn ier) He has taken to navigating around the room via the furniture rather than the floor For instance, he wil now jump from the sofa to the bottom stair, and from there to the arm of OH's armchair (quite a leap!). Then run around the back of the chair to go down the other arm, and from there to the door, rather than just jump down and walk round OH's feet! (have checked feet - not that bad!) ;D

Cats are a mystery, aren't they? I guess they've never heard of the 'shortest distance' rule, nor read any of the HSE guidelines. Mind you, in some ways, I'm glad - they'd be far less entertaining! ;D

it must be warm in there as he's done it quite often. on the safety side I never close the doors on my washer or dryer and double check before useing them . dont think he'd appreciate the wash spin cycle

Mickey loves to sleep in my Summer House; I think he thinks it is a large kennel So I put a little bed in it for him

I didn't realise you had a yorkie Jenny! Our first dog was a yorkie. They are so feisty for small dogs. Ready to take on the world, for all the noise they make, that is until someone gets too close! Mickey is a little cutie!

This is Jess' favourite spot. It is right in front of the sink - probably the most inconvenient spot a medium sized dog could choose in the whole kitchen but she is very old and her back legs don't work as well as they did so it is quite hard for her to stand up...I end up washing up leaning over her rather than move her!

Yes it is - you would never think he is 16 - he can walk for 2 hours trotting along, come home andf then run about the house - he sleeps with one eye open in case he misses something

Busy - I enjoyed the train journey tho - so nice to just sit back and watch the scenery go by. I am lucky that the route cuts thru gorgeous country side - lots of Buddlejas and if I sit in the Quiet Zone am not bovvered by mobiles, screaming kids and laptops pinging ;D

I'm gutted. Still, at least she died in Comfort" which was supposed to be a joke ie Comfort fabric softener. I sent him a rather curt reply telling him not to send me jokes about that kinda thing because I was nearly in tears before I'd got to finish reading the end of the text. Eejit.

We've had the builders in since last week and every night after they leave Oscar takes over. He usually sleeps on the mower in the garage at every opportunity (you can hear the brmmmm brrrmmmm noises if you listen hard, he calls it purring) and gets peed off when told to get off but now he has a bit bigger boy's toy. He's always there in the morning too. Not sure what he gets up to in between but, knowing Oscar, it's not a lot PS One of the builders did complain of the muddy paw prints on his seat and wondered why the build hasn't progressed much over night. Well, I mean, have you ever known a cat to actually do anything useful.

Me too with concrete This is where he was found this morning. Not the best of places really! And he was still there with the cement mixer going and builders going around him with bricks. And after everyone had left, the inspection commences. Now this was ok until you realise that last year Foxy (the orange one on the left) broke both his hips and dislocated his tail with a spinal fracture. He climbed up the ladder of the scaffolding ok but I'm surprised I didn't find Nightowl on the doorstep complaining of the noise when he wanted to get back down. If he does that more than once he's being locked up!
