I think it's 'Sundance'. I bought it from the local market last week. Potted it on at the weekend, and moved the pot near the house. Have just been out and noticed that it's gone 'floppy', and alot of the leaves have a definite crease near the base. I've given it a good drink. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like it might have been kept in warm temperatures before you bought it RM and has had a bit of a shock with the cold nights. It might need putting somewhere protected and hardening off bit by bit? Was it snug in the pot before you replanted it, the compost in the larger pot perhaps isn't heating up either? Others with more experience in these matters will offer advice I'm sure x Tig

Will it survive, do you think?

I'd try putting it somewhere warmer, can you bring it indoors for a few days? Watering it will have added to its woes I reckon - they don't mind being a bit dry in my experience.

Oh no! Oops It's a bit big to bring inside. What about if I put it in the garage at night? Will it pick up or lose the leaves do you think?

If it was mine RM I would take it out of the big pot, put it back in a smaller one which will mean it has less cold around its roots, I would loosely tie its leaves up for support, and I would definitely not leave it out at night for a couple of weeks. Garage is better than outside I would think not an expert, but that would be me giving it emergency first aid until the ambulance arrives (or those more knowledgable in this case x Tig

Hi Tig! ;D Erm, well, no more of the leaves have bitten the dust, so I'm hoping that it'll recover Actually, you've just reminded me to lift it back in this afternoon, as I think we're getting a frost tonight I'm a bad gardener! ;D

Hi auricula Well, my cordy doesn't look any worse, so I suppose that's something I'm hoping it will reward my 'care' with loads of new leaves in the spring
