FB - where are you? I need help with knowing when to stop watering ( they are in an unheated greenhouse and we don't get frosts )

Well if you dont get frosts,i wondered if they would flower all winter,with watering,i stop watering when i take mine inside,and that is when theres a sign of frost
If they have stopped flowering,i would stop watering,let them go dormant,but if still flowering,keep watering

Well im sorry to keep on about it Jen,but im sure if you had fed from the begining, you would have had flowers by now.
I took a cutting about 3 weeks after i took yours,and it is flowering

Thought I would share my brug experience: I have a brug that was about 6 foot tall and about the same width when in leaf, but I brought it in cos of the cold and chopped it right down. I left stems about 8 inches long and already they are sprouting new leaves. They are lovely plants but so big so it seems a good prune doesn't hurt them.

I had one in a previous garden and I used to chop it right down every winter.It didn't seem to mind. I'm hoping to leave mine ( they're new this year ) for a couple of years until they get too big to move.Hope it's ok to leave them - I thought you had to cut them back, but FB said it should be ok.
