Will have a bash with them tomorrow or monday seeing as I'm off.

No idea.... lol it's in the cupboard at the moment. It was on the first bay on the baking aisle I think.
I know they can be a bit gormless sometimes in Tesco's but you're best going to customer services and asking them to get someone to show you where it lives.
I think they're both Hovis ones. The granary packet is smaller than the wholemeal one though.

Made a wholemeal bloomer today, was going to make a white one but didn't have enough white flour.
The bloomer seems so much bigger than the tinned loaf.

Yeah I found that when I made the bloomer but I think I left it in too long because it wasn't as "soft" on the outside as the loaf was.

Do you use a breadmaker MRH or do you make bread by hand? I haven't made bread since I did hot cross buns at school! I was offered a breadmaker by a friend who was emigrating but I didn't realise how much of the work it actually did for you so I declined - I could kick myself now!

I do it by hand Jas...you have to add too many other things to it to do it in a breadmaker.

I think I might give it a go with the boys as a holiday filler! Small fussy one may eat it if he made it!

Its quite easy and they will probably enjoy kneading it or bashing it up as my son says.

It would be bashing it up in this house too - what would Delia have to say about that?
