So Jenny bought, in home bargains 5x bags of 2.5kg of mixed narcissus in each, 2xboxes of 40 mixed tulips 1 box of Shake n' Rake Pastel Flower Garden and 1 box of Shake n' Rake Sunburst Flower Garden, 12.5kg of sunflower hearts for the birds and yet another bird feeder. That should keep us busy for quite a while.

Tempting eh? All those bulbs so much promise....... I have been looking at Amarine bulbs. They are said to be way more hardy than Nerine. Must say the choice is still limited and pink in Autumn is not entirely my thing. So I have not bought any yet.

How gorgeous is Peony Lollipop? Farmer G had 10% 0ff at the minute with FB10. Not that I'm buying this, I nearly fell over at the price! But it is beautiful! A snip at £39.95! Thought the code might help with cheaper things!

I do have some LG --- 2 x bartzella, 3 x Hilary, 3 x Canary Brilliants, 2 x Border Charm, plus 1 each of Cora Louise, Everlasting Treasure, Julia Rose, Lollipop, Scrumdiddlyumptios, Sonoma Yedo & Callies Memory I've recently ordered Yellow Crown - all mine were bought when they were on offer though, think the most I paid for any of them was around £20, most were a lot less.

When I read what you lot buy I often wonder if the neighbors have gotten on to the idea that half their gardens are yours really.

It should be fine maggy once you get it in a decent sized container, but I do find roses do better in the ground than pots as they like to get their roots down. You can cosset it a bit more in a container for the first couple of years though, maybe plant it in the ground later. One of my FG orders is on it's way, not the tulips but more peonies and fritillarias.
