They will make money out of it WT! I won't vote on principle any more, but I hope the results stay the same as the judges decisions - after all, as P says, they got to taste the food! That is what should count, although I think at times they were biased, who knows what 'modern British' is I just like eating tasty food x Tig

Usually love watching this but have missed it this time around! Are the judges Prue, Oliver and Matthew again?

I won't vote on principle but I think they do the vote thing to get more viewers. I guess they think that if people have input they will be more interested in the programme.
I'm trying to remember what the judges have chosen for the menu:
Chris's fancy whatsit health-food starter (which looked gorgeous I have to say)
Then Steve and Jasons fish - they both did salmon didn't they?
Jason's beef was the main course
And Glyn's pudding was the star! Creme brulee with tarted up strawberries.
Personally I'd eat all of that but would be cautious of some of the stuff in the main beef dish. It sounds like an excellent menu to me and I hope to goodness it doesn't change. And do you think that if the British public voted for something not up to scratch, then the judges can refuse to let it through?
Yes Shrubby, Oliver, Prue and Matthew are the judges and they really have shown why they are worthy. They are thoughtful, they can taste every herb and spice added to a dish, and the seem very honest.

Well obviously the great british public didn't think much of Chris either! Well done to Jason on getting two dishes through, and to Steve and Glyn, wouldn't it be nice to get an invite to the Gherkin for that feast??

I thought that too - the GBP voted him down twice didn't they? Hahahaha! Oh aren't I horrible!!! ;D I really do think he would have done better if he had toned down his attitude a bit.
I think the menu looks fantastic and all three chefs did incredibly well to win. And I was also pleased to hear that we will be shown the preparations for the feast. I hope they don't get too nervous and they have plenty of help to get their meals out absolutely perfect.

It all worked out well, didn't it? And even Chris got a lesson in humility. He was the only one to be ousted from the judge's placings.

He might have got a lesson WeeT, but will he learn from it? Now we've got to wait until mid-June for the feast!!!
