Susie, you are right to feel chuffed with yourself, it is a great achievement, and you look so happy in the photographs. Makes me want to have a go. Congratulations, and so glad you didn't break anything.

I amazed myself at the fact that I smiled for most of the 26.2 miles! It's an annual event Wee, and not that far from where you live . It really is an amazing experience and i would encourage anybody to do it! S x

Very well done Susie. Having walked that distance myself many moons ago as a sixteen year old I can confirm that it is indeed a bloomin' long way! ;D ...and I wasn't carrying a pink brazier! ;D

Very well done Susie. Having walked that distance myself many moons ago as a sixteen year old I can confirm that it is indeed a bloomin' long way! ;D ...and I wasn't carrying a pink brazier! ;D Spru, I know I'm hot stuff, but really ;D I must say that, apart from a remarkable 79 year old who was a half mooner (13 miles, go girl!) a majority of the full mooners were young fillies, in their prime and looking fantastic! It's great that young girls like that are aware of breast cancer and doing something about it. I was really proud of them! Now Spru, bet you were carrying a lot less baggage when you were 16 ;D ;D S x

Congratulations and well done to both of you. We all knew you would do it and your face tells us how much you enjoyed it. My brother is 60 tomorrow and wants to do something different for his birthday so he is cycling from Manchester to Blackpool in July in aid of Christies. Ruthie who is a member of GW is also doing it. I will be taking them to Manchester at 6am on the 13th and waving them both off. Well done again Susie.
