This is the first time I've seen that Rosefriend, you've done a great job. I have nothing like that space though, just a 6' x 4 1/2' area and a small area by the fence for the peas and beans. I honestly thought you had seen it on the Members Video thread Ron,...will try and do any other this summer as things have changed a lot - well - everything is still in tubs. That back bit is a weird shape because of the shed - we got it when we bought the house, - it is only just over 2 meters by 6 meters but I have managed to get loads of tubs in it and great veg every year....What now grows very well are toms, of course, cucs, onions, beans, peppers, beetroot, courgettes and then mint, chives, parsley etc... I intend to cover the part behind the back of the shed which is only small but will help me with toms and also in the winter so that I can store sacks of stuff without them getting sodden and rotting..

It's amazing what you've done with limited space Rosefriend , good luck with your plans for the future. Even though I've been cautioned against it, I'm going to try a few swedes (space for just 9 at 6" apart). It seems you need to compress the compost a bit and ensure regular watering.

Make sure the compost isn't lumpy either - regular watering - a bit like toms as well - no use giving them 5 gallons for the week they need regular amounts... Looking forward to seeing your container garden and produce..you can join in on the Grow threads perhaps - be good to hear what results you have...
