cj,
I was just going to have a blast ....when I looked up and out of the window. The sky is still blue and we've got 'hot pink' clouds. I daren't think what that means for tomorrow's weather. Fingers crossed, and toes.

Sorry Sorry - we have the heatwave as well- 34/38 tomorrow and I don't need it. Bit too hot for me. The 30 deg today was enough.
Must honestly say that this summer really is getting on my nerves.

I don't think any of us particularly want a heatwave - just a more moderate degree of damp!!

It was quite warm here all afternoon, but then we needed that to dry up this morning's rain.

Can I just have a quick whinge about the cost of doing virtually anything with your children these days. Went to Gullivers Land (a theme park for younger children) in Milton Keynes last week. Cost us nearly £40 to get in. Some friends have just booked us tickets to go and see Lazy Town live in October. 72 flippin quid. Yes, SEVENTY TWO QUID !!!!!!! Why does everything have to cost a bl**dy fortune ? FA x

Lazy Town is a tv programme where a pink haired girl called Stephanie and the hero of the show, Sportacus try to get the kids of Lazy Town to do sports and games and eat fruit (called "Sport Candy" on the show) while a lazy man called Robbie Rotten tries to get everyone to eat sweets and chocolate and sit around doing nothing. My daughter absolutely loves it and is Stephanie mad ! We even had to buy a Stephanie dress and pink wig from America for her birthday ! Here's a link to official website, just so you know what I'm talking about www.lazytown.com/FA x

Thanks for clearing that up FA, I've had a look at the website and I'm abit worried that Sportacus looks abit like a young Bruce Forsyth in Lycra . Think I'll stick to the Pimms - even though I do like the idea of Pink Hair!!!

Hi tigridia, I'm sure you've taken some painkillers? Co-dydramol is very effective and will knock you out as well!!! Try and get some if you haven't got it - but check contra-indications first as it doesn't suit everyone. Hope it gets better soon.

Oooh.... where's RoseFriend when you need her? She had something similar a while back and was also in agony. IMO toothache is just pure torture. Get some pain relief in and try to get some sleep. Hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Agree jenny. Must be a reason they do it, and they all do, but I have no idea why. The only time I dont really mind is November. Get Christmas stuff twice

It's like the shops displaying xmas decs in September. We were getting complaints last year that ours in B&Q weren't up yet (November) and the year before we were getting complaints because they were up too soon (October). Just no pleasing some people.
And cos I'm new at this postie lark, I'm not incredibly fast (plus I've got a horrible crappy poo round) so it's taking me a while to get around it all. Some git yesterday said "afternoon shift today is it love?". I thought "Don't you 'love' me ya ignorant shite". He reckoned he was only joking but I've got his card marked... hehe
